Volunteers are an integral part of everything Community Care and Transport does and is an experience which benefits both the organisation and the volunteer. CC&T volunteers have the opportunity to:
Volunteer drivers support clients to meet medical, social and business needs. Trips can be local and as far away as Port Pirie and Adelaide. Drivers have complete flexibility and are encouraged to only take on trips they are comfortable with.
Volunteer visitors are matched with a new friend (sometimes two) and visit with them on a regular basis. The minimum requirement is for one hour each fortnight for at least 6 months.
Volunteer vehicle washers help us keep our fleet clean and tidy for our clients and volunteers.
Volunteers who help with fundraising may help with raffles and other activities. These roles occur on an ad hoc basis.
Volunteers help keep our premises at Minlaton welcoming and weed free.
Volunteers perform vital roles in policy development by being involved in our risk, fundraising and business development committees.
