SENATOR Anne Ruston called into the Community Care and Transport — Care in Motion office at Minlaton when she was on Yorke Peninsula in February.
“We were honoured to have the Senator, along with Federal Member for Grey Rowan Ramsey, and Yorke Peninsula Council mayor Darren Braund and CEO Andrew Cameron call in,” Care in Motion CEO David McDonald said.
“I am so proud of our team and organisation… it was great to see the interest our dignitaries displayed in our operation, the key issues in our area, and the way in which they engaged with our team.
“Thank you to our operations and risk manager Erica Singh who greeted our visitors and guided them through our cause and commitment to our community.
“The visit was a wonderful opportunity to showcase our services.”
Care in Motion is a local not-for-profit that offers a range of transportation services, for medical, social and business trips, as well as health and community buses.
“We also provide the Community Visitors Scheme and are thankful for the support of our wonderful volunteers,” David said.
“Care in Motion is always looking for more volunteers; for more information visit www.community careandtransport.org.au or call 1300 132 932.”
