YORKE Peninsula Community Care and Transport has been honoured for its service at the SA Community Achievement Awards.
The organisation claimed the Rural Doctors Workforce Agency Rural Community Health and Wellbeing Award at the gala presentation in Adelaide on Saturday, November 20.
Every year, Yorke Peninsula Community Care and Transport assists thousands of elderly residents to help maintain their independence, their dignity and to live their lives to the fullest.
“Everyone at CC&T and in our community on the Yorke Peninsula, should feel so proud of this achievement,” CEO David McDonald said. “It should give us all a great sense of pride to be recognised and awarded with this prestigious SA Community Achievement Award.”
“Community Care and Transport is committed to doing great work in our community and to continuing to make a difference in the lives of people in need. “We are care in motion and we are growing and getting better.”
